Building on its extensive SUV lineup, BMW Malaysia has introduced the facelifted 2023 BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport LCI, which will now feature alongside the xDrive40i Pure Excellence LCI variant introduced earlier this year.
The X7 xDrive40i M Sport continues locally assembled (CKD) at the BMW Assembly Plant in Kulim, adding to the current range of vehicles that are proudly made in Malaysia.

As is customary for BMW M Sport variants, the X7 M Sport is outfitted with M-specific front and rear bumper highlights courtesy of the M Aerodynamics Package, along with door entry sills that feature an 'M' inscription.
Other visual highlights on the BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport consist of the BMW Iconic Glow kidney grilles which are illuminated by LED fibre optics as well as the new 22-inch double-spoke '913M' M Sport light alloy wheels.

Inside, the new BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport features a new 'Fineline Blackβ wood trim with a high-gloss metal effect, the M Sport package also offers a M leather steering wheel as well as Merino leather upholstery (in Black/Tartufo) from the BMW Individual catalogue.
There are no changes under the hood, the BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport remains powered by the (B58) 3.0-litre turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine which develops 381 PS and 540 Nm of torque.

The engine is paired with an 8-speed Steptronic Sport transmission sending power to all four wheels through a BMW xDrive system. Alongside, the X7 xDrive40i M Sport also boasts mild-hybrid technology with a 48-volt starter generator (ISG) for even increased efficiency.
The X7 xDrive40i M Sport is capable of completing the 0-100 km/h sprint in 5.8 seconds and will keep accelerating to a top speed of 250 km/h.
Elsewhere, the BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport also features the BMW Driving Assistant Professional suite which includes Distance Control with Stop & Go function along with the Steering and Lane Control Assistants β enabling Level 2 Autonomous Driving capabilities.
The X7 xDrive40i M Sport is offered in three colours, Mineral White Metallic and Black Sapphire Metallic as well as the highlight M Brooklyn Grey Metallic hue.
The xDrive40i M Sport is priced at RM 718,800 inclusive of the complete BMW Group Malaysia Premium Ownership experience package which enlists the 5-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service Programme, Roadside Assistance and Accident Hotline and BMW Service Online packages.
The new pricetag also brings with it a price reduction over the pre-facelift X7 M Sport, which was introduced at RM 728k.
Buyers can also opt for the Straight Line Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia with monthly instalment plans starting from RM 8,322 (based on estimates of an 80 percent loan on a seven-year tenure).
