Auto Bavaria just posted a short 12-second video on their Facebook page, hinting at the imminent arrival of what looks like a special edition BMW X5 Plug-in Hybrid Vehicle (PHEV).

Albeit short, the teaser does let us in on a few details, like the carbon fibre side mirrors, gloss black front grille, and M Sport alloy wheels. The teaser also hints that the Auto Bavaria-specific could be finished in a shade of black.

Apart from the M Sport additions, buyers of the limited edition X5 xDrive45e will also be receiving stuff like free tint, interior and exterior coating, amongst others.

To recap, the G05 BMW X5 xDrive45e is locally-assembled (CKD) at BMW’s Kulim plant and is priced at RM 440,745. It is powered by a turbocharged 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine mated to an electric motor, allowing for a combined system output of 394 PS and 600 Nm.
