Could Singapore be the first ASEAN country to launch the all-new, 2022 Honda Civic (FE-series)? Maybe, according to latest information from a dealer across the Causeway.
Checks with said dealer reveals that Singaporean customers can take delivery of their new Civic beginning October 2021. That's less than five months away.

Neighbouring countries like Thailand and Indonesia haven't begun advertising the model, which further tips it in Singapore's favour. While Honda Malaysia might have something up their sleeves, it may not be a full-on launch, but rather just an early local preview.

Anyway, the new Civic is bound to get pricier for Singaporeans. Early bird prices for the 11th-gen Civic starts from SGD 118,999 (Certificate of Entitlement inclusive), which is SGD 11,000 dearer than the range-topping Civic FC currently sold there.
However, part of that increment probably owes to the bump in COE rates too.
What else do we know?
Other than that, the Singaporean-spec Civic is said to be powered by a new turbocharged, 1.5-litre mill with 131 PS. Curiously, that looks like a drop in power, considering the Civic FC's VTEC turbo mill makes 170 PS.
