The G variant offers two different transmission option for owners – 5-speed manual and 4-speed conventional automatic mode. Bringing in alarm, immobilizer, ISOFIX and two parking rear sensors, the G variant can be claimed as a decent one compared to the gimped safety features on the standard E variant.

Perodua Axia SE

Perodua Axia Advance shares lots of features with the special edition. While staying the same on the outside with that of the SE variant, Advance is loaded with touchscreen radio DVD / MP3 player with Bluetooth, GPS, Smartlink, 4 speakers and steering audio control. For trimming, the material used for seats and steering is full leather.

How to choose

From the parameters add-on bonus displayed above, it’s cleared that there are 3 instead of 6 different range for consumers to choose. For the standard E variant, you can bring home a very basic car with only RMB 22K (on-the-road price). March to the next level, the G variant is presented in two more colours with intact safety features and exterior upgrades while still remaining a reasonable price (OTR RMB 31-33K). Suppose that’s the pulse that drives this variant to become the most popular among the whole line-up.

Next is the special SE variant, which embodies the modern electrical concept in an obvious but simple way, such as the introduction of the keyless push button and Bluetooth. Its vigorous character also leaked out by putting on so-called lava red and sunflower yellow, thus safe to say that the SE variant fits the young generation who has limited capital but don’t mind paying a little bit more (RM 34-36K) to play with some electrical elements well. As for the one who wants an up-scale finish for the interior trimming and tech, the Axia Advance (RM 39K) should be the pick.
