Today, the Perodua Ativa is no longer the only SUV of its class in Malaysia as Honda Malaysia has launched the 2023 Honda WR-V. Locally assembled (CKD) in Melaka, the HR-V is offered here in 4 variants.

All 4 variants are powered by a naturally-aspirated 1.5-litre i-VTEC DOHC engine that makes 121 PS and 145 Nm. Power is sent to the front wheels (FWD) via a CVT-automatic transmission while stopping power is provided with front disc brakes and rear drums on all variants.
