Neta Auto has entered the Indonesian market at this year's Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2023 exhibition, headlined by the Neta V, priced at IDR 379 million (~RM 115,311).
The Neta V for the Indonesian market differs from ours slightly in that it has a slightly improved battery; the biggest change therein is a 40.7 kWh lithium-ion phosphate (LFP) battery that's claimed to give 401 km of range per the NEDC.
Yet the electric motor specifications are similar, with the Indonesian-spec Neta V equipped with a 95 PS/150 Nm electric motor that powers the front wheels. 100w DC fast charging takes only 30 minutes to get from 30% to 80%. AC charging goes up to 6.6 kW.
Tech features in the car include a 14.6-inch floating-type infotainment touchscreen that has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functionality.
The cars will be delivered beginning the fourth quarter of this year. Meanwhile, the company reiterated that local assembly of the model is in the works by the second quarter of 2024, having signed an MoU with PT Handal Indonesia Motor (which are also Chery's contract manufacturer there) back in July 2023.
