VPCM's most powerful CKD model, 2024 VW Touareg facelift launched in Malaysia - 340 PS / 450 Nm, 3.0T V6, 8AT

Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia (VPCM) has introduced the locally assembled (CKD) 2024 Volkswagen Touareg facelift in Malaysia, offering only one variant, the R-Line, priced at RM 469,990 (OTR with Volkswagen Assurance Package, without insurance).

The Volkswagen Assurance Package (VAP) includes 5 years free maintenance and 5 years unlimited mileage warranty.

Under the bonnet, it packs a 3.0-litre turbocharged V6 engine generating 340 PS/450 Nm, paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission channelling power to all four wheels via the 4Motion all-wheel-drive system.

Standard features include IQ.Light HD LED matrix headlamps with an array of 38,432 micro LEDs, self-levelling air suspension, and 20-inch "Braga" wheels wrapped with 285/45 profile tires.

Inside the cabin, drivers are greeted with a 12-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15-inch touchscreen infotainment display supporting wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with enhanced voice control functionality.

The interior is illuminated by 30-colour ambient lighting, with high-gloss black finishing for buttons and volume dial on the centre console, and a total of five USB-C ports providing up to 45 watts of power.

The Touareg also features a head-up display, 4-zone automatic climate control, ventilated seats, and a 730-watt 14-speaker (with subwoofer) Dynaudio sound system.

On the safety front, the Touareg comes equipped with the IQ.DRIVE suite of driver assistance systems as standard, featuring Front Assist (AEB), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with Stop & Go, Side Assist, Lane Assist, Park Assist/Park Assist Plus, Dynamic Road Sign Display, Area View (360-degree camera), Trailer Assist, and Night Vision.

Buyers have the choice of five exterior colours: Dolomite Silver, Lapiz Blue, Grenadilla Black, Silicon Grey, and Oryx White.
