The Lotus Emira is supposed to be the brand’s last combustion engine car before it becomes fully electric by 2028. Now, Lotus has confirmed it will be abandoning its 100% electric by 2028 target. It looks like Volvo has given up on Lynk & Co as the Swedish automaker announced it is selling its entire 30 per cent stake in the company to Zeekr. The transaction will cost Zeekr CNY 5.4 billion (RM 3.34 billion) which will be paid in cash and expected to close during the first quarter of 2025.
