Proton’s sales grew 40.9 percent in May 2023, rising in tandem with recovery of Total Industry Volume (total new car sales in the country), which Proton estimates to be 32.2 percent up, reaching 61,600 units. Proton has confirmed that bookings for the 7-seater Proton X90 is now open. Prices have yet to be announced as the model is not expected to launch until the middle of this year. Geely is on a roll with introducing SUVs recently. Over the past couple of months, the company introduced a slew of SUVs, ranging from the Xingyue, Binyue Pro, Icon, and Haoyue. And the Zhejiang-based company isn’t slowing down one bit. Seen here is the upcoming Geely KX11, a model that is said to be positioned above the already-XXXL-sized Geely Haoyue.
