Rever Automotive, the distributor for BYD cars in Thailand, has announced the refreshed 2024 BYD Atto 3. The updated Atto 3 will be available in two variants: the BYD Atto 3 Dynamic and the BYD Atto 3 Premium, priced at an estimated THB 899,900 (around 118k) and THB 949,900 (around RM 125k), respectively.
The pre-updated Atto 3 in Thailand was priced from THB 1,099,900 (around RM 145k) to THB 1,199,900 (around RM 158k), which represents a price reduction of around 18% for the entry level variant.

Both variants sport a slightly revised exterior with black D-pillar and a choice of body colours between Frost White or Graphite Gray. Standard LED headlights, electric adjustable-folding side mirrors with defogger, a panoramic Sunroof, 18-inch alloy wheels, and powered tailgate.

Inside, there’s a larger 15.6-inch rotatable touchscreen display. Buyers get a choice of blue-grey or blue-black colour tones. Standard equipment includes a 5-inch digital instrument cluster, 6-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, 4-way electrically adjustable front passenger seat, and Dirac HD Sound system with 8 speakers.

As seen in other markets with the updated Atto 3, the introduction of the BYD Store expands the vehicle's connectivity options, allowing users to apps such as "Karaoke" with the option to connect a separate microphone.

The drivetrain remains as before, with a single electric motor powering the front wheels, delivering a maximum power of 204 PS/310 Nm. The Blade Battery, a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) pack with a capacity of 50.25 kWh, provides an NEDC range of 410 km, for the Standard variant.
Charging capabilities are supported through a Type 2 port for AC charging at up to 7 kW and a CCS 2 port for DC fast charging with speeds of up to 70 kW, for Standard variant.
Deliveries in Thailand for the 2024 BYD Atto 3 is expected to commence in May.

Closer to home, the authorised distributor for BYD cars in Malaysia, Sime Darby Beyond Auto, is currently offering up to RM 20,000 cash rebate for the 2023 manufacturing year BYD Atto 3 (MY2023). The promotion applies to both the Standard Range and Extended Range variants, thus bringing prices down to RM 130,430 and RM 148,430 (prices are OTR without insurance) respectively.
