BYD Singapore has started accepting test drive bookings for the new 2024 BYD Atto 3. The new 2024 model is more of a running change to update the car’s specifications rather than a mid-lifecycle facelift.

Stylistically, the 2024 BYD Atto 3 is unchanged, except for a new Cosmos Black colour. All previously offered colours remain on the palette – Parkour Red, Surf Blue, Forest Green, Boulder Grey, and Ski White.

Inside, there’s a larger 15.6-inch rotating infotainment screen, replacing the previous car’s 12.8-inch unit.

Cars painted in Cosmos Black or Boulder Grey will get a different Black-Blue two-tone interior.

Singapore market cars have a higher driving range of up to 565 km (WLTP) driving range, but that’s because power output has been capped to 136 PS (100 kW) to qualify for a lower COE band.

COE, or Certificate of Entitlement is the island state’s equivalent to vehicle registration fee, except that the fee changes regularly, depending on demand for new cars and road density. Higher powered cars pay a higher COE.

Our Malaysian market Atto 3 makes 204 PS (203 hp), with a claimed driving range of up to 480 km (NEDC).

As the battery capacity is unchanged for 2024 models, even in China (49.92 kWh or 60.48 kWh), performance and driving range figures will remain.

Sime Darby Beyond Auto sells the outgoing 2023 BYD Atto 3 in two variants. The Standard variant is priced from RM 150,430, while the Extended variant is priced from RM 168,430. Both variants are imported from China.
