Finished in a shade of black called Crystal Black Pearl, it also gets a blacked-out front grille, front and rear bumper garnish, and 18-inch alloy wheels. Stepping inside, the CR-V Black Edition gets black interior finishing on the centre console, dashboard, and door trim. This new variant also gets a black colour headlining and front seats with “Black Edition” embroidery.

Seeing that the CR-V Black Edition is based on the CR-V 1.5 TC-P, safety equipment mirrors that variant, including the full Honda Sensing ADAS suite, Honda LaneWatch camera, six airbags, and stability control.
Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Madoka Chujo said, “The CR-V was the first Completely Knocked-Down (CKD) model in Honda Malaysia’s line-up in 2003. Since then, the CR-V has consistently been well accepted by the Malaysian market with more than 108,000 units sold to date. The 5th Generation CR-V, which was launched in 2017, has maintained the positive sales momentum with a significant contribution of over 43,000 units sold to the total sales of the model. The CR-V continues to exceed our expectations with encouraging sales and is dominating the Non-National SUV segment with 24% of market share as of August 2021.”
