Powering the 2022 BMW i4 M50 are two electric motors, one on the front axle and the other on the rear axle. Combined output for both motors are 544 PS and 795 Nm in Boost mode, allowing the i4 M50 to complete the century sprint in just 3.9 seconds. Top speed is limited to 225 km/h.
BMW quotes an energy consumption of 19 to 24 kWh/100 km, allowing for an electric range of 510 km under the WLTP test cycle. Recharging from 10 percent to 80 percent takes just 31 minutes with a 200 kW DC charger, while charging with a regular 11 kW AC charger takes 8 hours and 15 minutes.
In conjunction with BMW Mβs 50th anniversary, the 2022 BMW i4 M50 variant gets a number of BMW M 50 Year emblems as standard. Being the first M-badged EV, the i4 M50 also gets the full M Aerodynamics package, as well as M rear spoiler and black rear diffuser insert.
Safety equipment includes Acoustic Protection for Pedestrians, Active Protection for Pedestrians, Driving Assistant Professional, Parking Assistant Plus, and Active Protection.
Colours for the BMW i4 M50 include Mineral White, Black Sapphire, M Brooklyn Grey, M Portimao Blue and Sanremo Green. Interior upholstering is available in Leather Vernasca in Black with Blue Contrast Stitching and Leather Vernasca in Cognac.
Separately, BMW Malaysia has also introduced the new 2022 BMW M3 Competition and 2022 BMW M4 Competition, now with the M xDrive system. Prices of the BMW M3 Competition start from RM 827,800, while the BMW M4 Competition is priced from RM 848,800.
But thatβs not all β BMW Malaysia also debuted the new 2022 BMW M5 and 2022 BMW M5 Competition. The updated BMW M5 is priced from RM 998,800, while the Competition variant is priced from RM 1,188,800.
