Pictured here is the 2024 Haval H6 facelift, in what is another round of updates for one of China's most popular SUVs. It sports a new look and updated powertrains, though details are still a bit scarce at the moment.
What is clear however that the new looks are a return to form for the H6, replacing what was the polarising, suspiciously-Lamborghini Urus-aping front fascia of 2023.
Today's iteration of the Haval H6 keeps its familiar face, thanks to its wide grille, new light signatures, and the 'teardrop' daytime running light (DRL) that's also similar to what the Haval Jolion has.

The side profile and the wheels are pretty much unchanged from the pre-facelift model that we've seen in Malaysia, save for the blacked-out wheels and this gold body colour.
It's the rear of the vehicle that sees a much bigger change – it ditches the lightbar of the old car in lieu of simpler tail lights, and there's a new font for the HAVAL brand lettering across the tailgate.

Interior images are still yet to be made public, and so are powertrain details. The pre-facelift Haval H6 is available with two powertrains that the facelifted model is likely to keep: a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 210 PS / 325 Nm and a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) that makes a combined 326 PS and 530 Nm.
Prices and the additional details is slated for full release at the upcoming Beijing Motor Show.
Haval H6 in Malaysia
The release of this 2024 Haval H6 facelift begs the question – will Malaysia be getting this version? It is still a bit too early to tell, however there has been news that Haval will launch the locally-assembled (CKD) H6 hybrid in Q2 2024.
Upon its launch, it will face rivals like the soon-to-come 2024 Proton X70 facelift and Toyota Corolla Cross. Indicative pricing has not been revealed yet, but we reckon the Haval H6 HEV is likely to be positioned closer to the Corolla Cross (from RM 143,000), compared to more upscale rivals like the Honda CR-V e:HEV RS that starts from RM 195,900.
In a related matter, the Haval Jolion is also slated for launch in Malaysia this year, also CKD.
