Following its launch in Japan in January, Mazda Thailand has announced that it will be launching the new look facelifted 2023 Mazda 2 on 21-June.
According to Thai publication Headlightmag, there will be 3 different styling packages to choose from, similar to Japan.

The first is the flushed grille BD variant, with two-tone wheels. Next is the Sunlit Citrus variant, which has a similar grille as the BD but minus the two-tone wheels. Completing the trio is the Sports variant, which has a gloss black mesh grille.
The above is only for the Hatchback model. We don’t know if the new styling will be extended to the Sedan. No other market has launched the new look Mazda 2 Sedan.
The Thailand market Mazda 2 Hatchback and Mazda 2 Sedan are assembled at the Ford-Mazda co-owned Auto Alliance Thailand (AAT) plant in Rayong.
Powertrain is likely to remain unchanged but Thailand’s Mazda 2 are different from our local imported-from-Thailand (CBU) 1.5-litre ones, so its powered by either a smaller 1.3-litre SkyActiv-G petrol engine or a 1.5-litre SkyActiv-D diesel, both paired to a 6-speed automatic transmission.
In Malaysia, the outgoing Mazda 2 is priced from RM 103,000, for both the Hatchback and Sedan.
