Powering the Xforce is the same 1.5-litre MIVEC four-cylinder engine found in the Xpander, which develops 105 PS and 141 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a CVT transmission.
The Xforce sends power to the front wheels but features Mitsubishi’s famed four-wheel control technology. Thus, the Xforce offers four drive modes: Normal, Wet, Gravel, and Mud which are modulated by the Active Yaw Control (AYC) system to adjust torque between the front left and right wheels.

As for the suspension, the Xforce features MacPherson front suspension and torsion beam rear suspension which has been specially tuned for the ASEAN region. Mitsubishi claims the Xforce features specially tuned rear suspension bushes and a large shock absorber cylinder size to deliver a comfortable ride, even on rough roads.
As of now, the Xforce features one variant which rides on a massive 225/50 R18 wheel and tyre package, giving the Xforce a ground clearance of 222 mm and a 21.0-degree and 30.5-degree, approach and departure angle respectively. Mitsubishi also claims a turning radius of 5.2 m.
As for safety, the Xforce features 6 airbags along with blind-spot warning (BSW), rear cross-traffic alert (RCTA), and active yaw control (AYC) as standard.
Moving inside, the Xforce features a wide end-to-end instrument panel, covered in ‘Melange’ fabric. Guided by Mitsubishi’s Horizontal Axis design concept, the Xforce features a 12.3-inch Smartphone-link Display Audio (SDA) infotainment screen and another 8.0-inch digital driver display.
The SDA unit is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and also supports WebLink and enables smartphone screen casting. Additionally, the Xforce also features an audio system specially developed with Yamaha, dubbed the Dynamic Sound Yamaha Premium.
