After a house, cars are likely the second most expensive thing we’ll purchase in our lifetime. That can inadvertently lead to them being considered status symbols. And if you absolutely need a Honda in the game of one-upmanship, it’s possible to now get a loan up to 100 percent with RM 0 down payment for the Honda City and other models in their stable.
Following a facelift exercise in August 2023, Honda Malaysia is looking to encourage sales of the City via the new incentive together with its banking partners.

Apart from the City, the up-to 100 percent loan incentive is available for all Honda models as well. That means a RM 0 down payment for all Honda models with the caveat you qualify for the full loan.
The partnering banks for this deal are Maybank and Bank Muamalat and if your financials meet their requirements, you’ll not have to put down a single cent. So, please don’t rush to your nearest Honda dealer thinking that you’ll automatically qualify for the 100 percent loan or the only thing you’ll be eligible for is disappointment.

Additionally, if you’re targeting the City E and V, you’ll also get a free Ecotint window film package worth RM 2,200 and this deal is valid until 31 December 2023.
Aside from the 100 percent loan, there are extra discounts and freebies available as well. That’s something you can speak to your nearest Honda dealer about.
So, if you’ve been thinking of getting a new Honda, especially the City, now’s the time. Just make sure your financials have the VTEC to go with the car before applying.

“Better late than never.” Some despise it, others begrudgingly agree with it but he swears by it… much to the chagrin of everyone around him. A culmination of many wrongs fortunately making a right; much like his project cars on the rare occasions they run, he’s still trying to figure out if another project car is the way to go.
