A month or so after its premiere in India, the 2023 Honda City facelift has been spied in Malaysia this past weekend, gearing up to refresh the B-segment battle against the Nissan Almera and all-new 2023 Toyota Vios.
It's also one of the four upcoming models that Honda Malaysia has announced for our market.
The sole picture seen on social media by Mayr Naru shows the City sedan with a camouflaged rear bumper and wheels - clues to the refreshed look the car will sport. A front end photo isn't available, but in its entirety it should look just the same as it does in India.
The extent of this refresher for Malaysia hasn't been disclosed just yet. India's car might have clues however, as their City RS e:HEV is now equipped with Low-Speed Follow to complement its Adaptive Cruise Control.
More clues to come after Thailand launches the City facelift in their market, which will happen before introduction debut here.
What remains the same?
No changes to the powertrain are outlined for that market, and ours should retain what we have today too – meaning the 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated four-pot (121 PS/145 Nm) or 1.5-litre petrol-electric e:HEV hybrid (electric motor power: 109 PS/253 Nm) are to soldier on.
