Here's another brochure on one of those extraordinary Japanese pastiche models. A British luxo-barge that's often overlooked by those who can afford to purchase a luxury sedan. Should I one day become part of the elite, I'm definitely getting a Jaguar XJ L Autobiography. https://t.co/5931qER7Ho
#Jaguar #XJ goes electric. The all-electric luxury saloon will be created in the UK by the same expert team responsible for delivering the world’s first premium electric SUV, and 2019 World Car of the Year, the Jaguar #IPACE. https://t.co/W3Fql4UwqU
When people talk about cars that created a whole new sector, I reckon the Jaguar XJ is by far the most overlooked. This watershed luxury sporting motor is 50 this year and just look at the group that @JaguarUK and @JaguarUKPR got together to celebrate the occasion. Mouthwatering. https://t.co/kElXc2awNL

My personal choice would be the BMW 7 series. Out of the four, S class and 7 series would stand out as the best( my opinion) I will choose 7 series because i prefer driving my own car and the BMW gives an excellent ride quality. It has a 6 cylinder engine with 2993cc.( top end model has 6592cc). It has 8 gear automatic transmission. It has 8 gear automatic transmission with dual cluth and sports mode. The BMW gesture control mode is first in the business. Standard features come aplenty on the new BMW 7-Series. On the base 740i trim alone, you get adaptive LED headlights, 19-inch wheels, parking sensors for the front and rear, automatic high beams, power-folding side mirrors, seats that are heated and power-adjustable 10 different ways, a rear-view mirror that automatically dims, and chic, well-stitched leather inside of the cabin. There is also the standard iDrive system for all of your infotainment needs and plenty of standard safety features, including blind-spot monitoring with rear cross-traffic control and lane departure warning. Adaptive Air Suspension is another feature we can use for off roading. It has got cool infotainment system Other good thing about the 7 series is the remote control parking. The interiors are refined and of top quality. Driving this car would be real fun with it's crazy pick up and punch. The 7 series gives us sportiveness with luxury. But the new grill is a big thumbs down. All the four are very good cars bit if you like to be chauffeured you have to choose the S class.
There are a few reasons for this, some warranted, some not. My friend (at my intense urging) recently purchased a 2011 Jaguar XF-R with CPO for 33K, a 90K car new. He took a flight to a dealership in Florida to pick it up and drive it back to South Carolina, sight unseen, and called me on the drive home and he couldn’t have been happier. The vehicle has, so far, given him no trouble (other than his propensity to burn the tires right off it). For the price there isn’t a much “cooler” car he could have purchased. Jaguar has always had a bad reputation for reliability. The newer models (since TATA Motors ownership) are much better than the older ones (especially during the years when Ford basically tried to kill the brand. Don’t even get me started on GM and SAAB!!! DAMN YOU GM!!!) Some additional items to consider. These vehicles are still very unique and low production and require specialized knowledge in order to work on them properly. Try finding oil for that motor ANYWHERE, it’s almost impossible. It requires a unique specification that you can basically only buy from the dealer or pay them $195 for an oil change. The navigation/infotainment/whatever you want to call it is not up to par with other vehicles in it’s class. All and all they are great vehicles. I’ve drove many of them on the road, at a closed course autocross event and has the pleasure of a hot lap in an XKR-S at LimeRock Park in CT. If you have some mechanically ability and can afford the maintenance it’s a great vehicle.
Would definitely go for The Jaguar because of the power and the feel the car can give, when you ride a jaguar you will have a feeling that all jaguar fans call the Jaguar feeling (the power and the luxury you get from the car). Mercedes is a very good brand too but jaguars are much more better in terms of reliability, comfort in the interior and of course the feeling that you own a jaguar. Jaguar also have more better technology.
The car was expected to have 12 cylinders. Personally, I think the cylinder count thing is a “mine is bigger than yours” thing, and not as relevant as some think. For the late 90s, the XJ 220 was one of only 4 cars that could beat 8:00 on the Nurburgring. The other 3 were 6 cylinders as well. That should tell you something. And don’t forget, the most powerful F1 engine ever made was a BMW 4 cylinder, which generated about 1,400 horsepower, and enabled Nelson Piquet to win the F1 Championship . (The first turbo car to win F1 championship). Also the fastest speed ever in an F1 car was with the BMW 4 cylinder M12.
Everyone seems to love it from when It first came out and I took it to a party with a ghost and Mulsanne in the front, everyone stopped and stared when I pulled up in the Supersport, it’s a gorgeous car and the best looking full size luxury sedan aside from the Aston Martin Rapide. Even to this day people always compliment it, give it thumbs ups, at stop lights teenage boys on a few occasions have stopped done a complete 180 and stared, I’ve had girls compliment it all the time, girls seems to love Astons, Jags, and Bentleys the most. Even had young kids saying sick car/that's a jaguar/ pretty car which you would never really have in an S63/ or S550 lol.
Based on listings for the 2019 Jaguar XJ, the average list price is ,$56,099,. Prices range from $54,594 to $88,744 and vary depending on the vehicle's condition, mileage, features, and location.
One you may not of heard of. One you've probably never seen in the ‘flesh’. The rarest and most beautiful XJ, in my humble opinion…… The XJ13. Sheer beauty, I was lucky enough to see this beautiful machine at the Gaydon Heritage Motor Centre. Like they say in the movie Highlander ‘There can be only one' and their really is only one of these stunning V12 engined beasts!
My personal view is that one should choose the color of a car based on the following criteria. 1. Usage - Is it a family car? Then go for light colors like Silver, sky Blue, White. 2. Profession - Is the owner of the car a doctor? Then go for White. A businessman? Then the color's Black or Grey. A student? Then bright colors like Red will do. 3. Maintenance - Ease of maintenance directly proportional to color Grey :P 4. Black color any day!!! ;) Classic beauty!
XJ what? I am the proud owner of an XJ6; 43 years old and stilll sounds like a WW2 bomber! Had it up to just under 200kph (125mph) before I chickened out! And it was still accelerating! But boy is it thirsty ! Still a lovely looking car though! They say you only need two wrenches(spanners) for a Jag; big and bigger ! Its built like a tank ! And several British Army tanks use the same engine! I am not surprised! Sorry for going on a bit, but there are cars and there are cars, and then there are Jaguars !
