1.Impressive Handling
2.Good Active and Passive Safety
3.Good Stability in High Speed
Cons
1.CVT Can Be Too Loud When Pushed Hard
2.Specifications Are Too Low for the Price
3.Standard Spec Looks Inferior Compared to Higher Spec Models
Space
Adequate cabin space in its segment, boot space isn't as big as a sedan, but is adequate for a hatchback, although it surely can't load as much as a Myvi or Axia.
Power
The 1.3 Campro VVT engine is smooth and packs enough power for daily use, but you will need to floor the pedal frequently in situations like hill-climbing and overtaking.
Ride & Handling
Proton's ride and handling make it very fun to drive. When driving in high speed, the Proton Iriz is still very stable, even compared with many larger cars.
Fuel Economy
As for me, it has a average fuel consumption of 14 km/L. I know that's not impressive, but what more do you expect from a naturally-aspirated car?
Comfort
The fabrics seats sacrificed legroom for generous support, good for long distance travel. The CVT gearbox is quite jerky when in traffic, but it help the engine to stay quite in high speed.
Exterior
It got unpainted B-pillars, door handles and side mirrors. The wheels are steel, and there are even no rear wipers. To conclude, it does looks like a low spec car.
Interior
The interior of the standard spec variant is a little bit dull with only 2 speakers. Although the interior isn't that premium and impressive, it is actually quite durable, which still holding up very well after 2 years.
