BMW has pulled the covers off the (U11) 2023 BMW iX1 eDrive20, introducing the second variant of the iX1 model and the new entry point of the company's EV range. This is the new BMW i7, Munich’s answer to the Mercedes-Benz EQS. The BMW i7 is based on the regular internal combustion engine (ICE) G70 7 Series, albeit powered exclusively by two electric motors. Unveiled alongside the most environmentally friendly MINI ever, is the MINI John Cooper Works GP, a track-focused hot hatch. Only 10 units of the Oxford-assembled model, out of the 3,000 units worldwide, will be made available to the Malaysian market, priced at RM 377,470 (OTR without insurance and 50% SST) each – that's RM 75,000 more than a standard JCW 3 door hatch.
