Lexus Malaysia announced the updated 2020 Lexus LX 570 is now available for booking at all authorized Lexus Centres nationwide. Two variants will be available, the regular LX 570 which starts at RM 1,225,883 and the LX 570 Sport which starts at RM 1,289,938.

Both prices are on-the-road without insurance and include a 50% sales tax exemption which is valid until 31 December 2020.

By combining luxury and off-road brilliance, the LX 570 brings out the rugged luxury the LX has been famous for. Available standard across both variants are the 19-speaker Mark Levinson sound system, cooled central console, seat back-mounted 11.6-inch screens, and eight power ventilated seats.

That’s quite a lot of features for a million-ringgit Lexus. It doesn’t come short on safety either with 10 airbags and Lexus Safety System Plus safety suite which comes with AEB, lane departure alert, blind-spot monitor, and active cruise control.

For a car this huge, there’s also a 360-degree camera for those who need a little guidance manoeuvring the large Lexus SUV.

Powering the LX 570 is a 5.7-litre V8 engine (352 PS/460 Nm) that is mated to an 8-speed automatic. It also comes with adaptive variable suspension that continually adjusts shock-absorber damping rates while driving to deliver a smooth ride.

A new colour is introduced for the LX 570, Terrane Khaki Mica Metallic. Inside, three new interior colours are introduced as well which are Garnet, Sun Flare Brown, and Ocher.

Meanwhile, the LX 570 Sport adds some features including a sportier bumper, a different design for the 21-inch rims, illuminated scuff plate, aluminium sports pedal, and a Front Performance Damper. The latter enhances body rigidity for better handling and stability while maintaining the comfort of the SUV.

The common perception to the Lexus LX has always been that it is a luxury Toyota Land Cruiser. Well, unlike the Land Cruiser which is only available as a recon model, the LX will be officially available in Malaysia with a comprehensive 5-year unlimited mileage warranty.
