The 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe has been spotted in Indonesia ahead of its launch, which is slated in April.

As seen in the global debut, the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe facelift features a grille that dominates the front-end, with headlights that merge smoothly with the grille and the split LED DRLs.

The DRLs bear a resemblance to the Thor’s hammer headlights of a certain Swedish brand albeit vertical.

At the rear, there’s a strip connecting the taillamps across the rear tailgate. The strip is not just for display purposes but a working illuminated bar. It also helps accentuate the width of the car.

Powertrain wise, a 2.2-litre turbodiesel producing 202 PS/440 Nm, mated to an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission will be available along with a 2.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine making 180 PS/232 Nm, paired to a 6-speed automatic.

Closer to home, the Hyundai Santa Fe TM was launched in 2019, a year after the global debut. Given that the facelift was revealed last year, it's reasonable to expect the 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe facelift to arrive in Malaysia some time this year.
