The all-new 2024 Mitsubishi Triton will soon break cover as the company has officially announced that the world debut will take place in Thailand on 26-July 2023.

Featuring an entirely new design, 2024 Triton will highlight muscular proportions and horizontally-themed styling throughout its bodywork. The new design will also do away with the characteristic J-Line at the bottom-rear edge of the cab - as seen on the previous two generations.

This was first previewed by the Mitsubishi XRT Concept at the recent Bangkok International Motor Show (BIMS).

Seiji Watanabe, GM of design at Mitsubishi Motors says, "The all-new Triton has been completely reimagined under the design concept Beast Mode, or audacious and daring. While expressing the toughness and powerfulness expected of a pickup truck, the all-new Triton combines agility with the brand's robust design to create an imposing look,"

Besides its design, the 2024 Triton will be built on an all-new platform and feature a new set of turbodiesel engines. 

A full-electric (BEV) pickup is also rumored to be on the cards, however, it's unclear if it will feature the Triton name. The EV truck is part bigger model salvo, which will see 16 new models, 9 of which will be electrified, launched over the next 5 years.

After its world debut in July, the 2024 Triton will be launched sequentially in the ASEAN region, Oceania, and other global markets.
