All-new 2024 Peugeot e-3008 leaked; Tesla Model Y rival armed with up to 700 km range, dual motor

Time and time again, sleuths on the internet have done well to unearth pictures of cars before we're supposed to officially see it and this time, forumers from Worldscoop have gotten pictures of the next-gen, all-new 2024 Peugeot e-3008.
Official teaser of its interior
As the name implies, it will start as an all-electric model (EV), sitting on the company's brand new STLA Medium platform. Powertrain details aren't fully divulged yet, though Peugeot says there will be 3 electric powertrains (including dual motor), with range going up to 700 km.
Ultimately, it has its eyes on the Tesla Model Y, which has been running away with the sales crown in recent times.
Inspiration is clearly drawn from the sexy 408 features a sharp face with a reinterpration of its flared grille and LED 'claws' up front. Along the sides are funky new wheels, and the sloping rear leads to a sharp rear-end that has the similar claw motif for taillights as well.
The model is scheduled to debut sometime this month, and will be one of 5 Peugeot EVs planned in 2 years – the e308, e-308 SW (wagon) -e-408, and e-5008 are to follow.
The outgoing Peugeot 3008 is still sold in Malaysia for RM 170,288.
