At the ongoing 2023 Bangkok International Motor Show, BMW Thailand showcased the recently-launched all-new U11 2023 BMW X1.
Thailand is the second market in this region to receive the 2023 U11 BMW X1, with the first country being Singapore.
For the Thailand market, BMW is offering the BMW X1 in a single sDrive18i variant, priced at THB 2,249,000 (~RM 292k).
Powering the X1 sDrive18i is a turbocharged 1.5-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine that does 156 PS and 230 Nm, deployed to the front wheels via a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Visually, the U11 BMW X1 has been completely overhauled. Up front is BMW’s signature kidney grille, albeit larger and more angular than the predecessor model. The pair of adaptive LED headlights are also slimmer than before.

Towards the rear-end, the U11 BMW X1 has a pair of claw-like LED tail lights. The angular theme continues here, with the model receiving a rather angular bumper trim piece at the bottom. 225/55R18 wheels finished in silver complete the exterior of the U11 BMW X1.
Stepping inside and it’s a massive departure compared to the F48-generation X1. The BMW Curved Display has found its way to the entry-level X1, featuring a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and 10.7-inch infotainment screen.
Safety kit consists of automatic parking assistance system and autonomous emergency braking. Adaptive cruise control isn’t available.
Closer to home, the 2023 U11 BMW X1 should be arriving on Malaysian shores later this year.
