Chery Malaysia is preparing for the upcoming year with plans to expand its dealership network and introduce new models to the Malaysian market.
During Chery's Annual Business Briefing, Vice President Lee Wen Hsiang expressed gratitude to the media for their continuous support. “Chery Malaysia achieved more than 4,500 units in terms of customer delivery vehicle registration in the year 2023,” said Lee adding that Chery also conducted a sales satisfaction survey from more than 1000 customers who had given the brand an exceptionally high score of 94 over 100.
Despite initial scepticism, Lee emphasized Chery's commitment to addressing customer concerns, assuring that this focus will continue in 2024. The brand remains dedicated to ongoing improvement and customer satisfaction.

Network Development Director Soon Boon Ping shared that the current 32 outlets will increase to at least 48 by the end of 2024, contributing to a 70% growth in 3S and 4S centres. Soon highlighted the brand's focus on geographical expansion through strategic partnerships and emphasized significant investments in the training and skill development of sales and aftersales teams. This commitment underscores Chery's dedication to continuous improvement and excellence.

As for upcoming launches, Chery Auto Malaysia’s Product Director Michael Chew provided insights into the upcoming offerings for 2024. The Omoda E5 is set to launch by the end of Q1, and the Tiggo 7 Pro will be introduced in Q2 of 2024. Additionally, a soon-to-be-revealed model is expected in the fourth quarter at a more affordable price, which we believe to be the Tiggo 4 Pro.
