Talk about sitting on the backburner: the fully-imported (CBU India) 2021 Kia Seltos, first previewed in Malaysia in February last year, finally gets a price list. Confirmed prices start from RM 115,888. 

Two variants of the B-segment SUV are offered here, and bookings have been open since September 2020. Prices are as below:

However, note that the you won't see this price list on Kia Malaysia's site just yet - we got this information from a dealer prior to Kia Malaysia's official announcement. 

That said, checks with the dealer revealed that the car will be launched later this month, with deliveries taking place shortly thereafter. 

At these prices, the Seltos is dearer than some of its competitors, namely the Proton X50 Flagship (RM 103,300), and Honda HR-V RS (RM 118,581.81). 

2021 Kia Seltos specs in Malaysia

To recap, both variants of the Seltos are powered by a 1.6-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that does 123 PS at 6,300 rpm and 151 Nm at 4,850 rpm. The engine is hooked up to a 6-speed automatic transmission that transfers drive to the front wheels.

Standard on the Seltos are LED daytime running lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, an 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, a 6-speaker audio system, 6 airbags, stability control, and cruise control. It doesn't have any advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) functions.
