The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N has been previewed at the 2024 Singapore Motor Show. As this is just a preview, prices and specifications have yet to be announced, and this left-hand drive example remains locked.
According to the global specifications, the Ioniq 5 N, equipped with the N Grin Boost, boasts dual electric motors delivering 650 PS and 770 Nm of torque. This power propels the car from 0-100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds. The 84-kWh lithium-ion battery powers the motor.
Visually, the Ioniq 5 N showcases an updated front end with improved cooling features, distinctive black trim, and striking Luminous Orange accents. The rear sports a model-specific wing-type spoiler and rear diffuser for a sporty touch. The electric vehicle rests on 21-inch forged aluminum wheels fitted with Pirelli P Zero tyres.
Inside the cabin, which is off limits at the motor show, details include a customized steering wheel adorned with the N logo, featuring dedicated buttons for selecting drive modes and engaging N Grin Boost. The interior also boasts an extended lower center console, N bucket seats with reinforced bolsters, and chequered flag motifs on elements like door scuff plates and metal pedals.
The enhanced thermal management system prevents power loss from overheating, incorporating improved cooling, a superior motor oil cooler, and a battery chiller. The N Battery Pre-conditioning system optimizes battery temperature for peak performance, offering Drag and Track modes.
Featuring the N Torque Distribution system with fully variable front and rear torque distribution and 11 adjustment levels, it also includes an electronic limited-slip differential (e-LSD) at the rear axle.
