MG Motor Australia’s CEO says it was MG’s vision to make EVs available for everyone at an affordable price. In Australia, the MG ZS EV will cost you AUD 40,900 (before on road costs) or AUD 43,900 (driveaway).

For context, other electric cars in Australia like the Hyundai Ioniq Electric start at AUD 48,970 and the Nissan Leaf start at AUD 49,990. It is also way cheaper than the Hyundai Kona Electric which fetches a price of AUD 60,740. Of course, the Kona offers more power, torque, and range.
