Proton now accepts e-wallet transactions for buying cars, maintenance

Many merchants nationwide are encouraging the usage of e-wallets as consumers are more comfortable using their mobile phones for transactions. In light of this, Proton has just announced that e-wallet payments are accepted at all Proton 3S/4S outlets.

The e-wallet services that are accepted by Proton include Touch 'n Go eWallet, Grab Pay, Boost, and Fave Pay.

The program first began as a pilot project with 15 outlets in June 2020 and was completed in December 2020, with all 3S/4S outlets providing e-wallet services.

As such, customers can now book for their new Proton car as well as making a down payment all with their e-wallet. But the e-wallet isn’t restricted to purchasing a brand-new ride, it can be used to pay for your maintenance services, vehicle insurance renewal, and the purchase of spare parts, accessories, as well as Proton merchandise.

Proton is also encouraging its 1S and 2S outlets to opt for e-wallet transaction as it is seen as a reliable, safe, and convenient payment method.

Moving forward, Proton will strategize the collaboration plan and system integration with e-wallet providers to deliver offerings that are beneficial to Proton customers.
