The all-new 6th generation 2023 Honda CR-V is set to hit Honda showrooms in Thailand very soon, judging by these two photos shared by Thai publication Headlightmag.com.
About two weeks ago, Honda Thailand announced that it will be debuting the latest generation Honda CR-V on Tuesday’s opening of the 2023 Bangkok International Motor Show.
For the first time ever in this part of the world, the CR-V will be available with a 2.0-litre two-motor i-MMD full hybrid (marketed as e:HEV). This is the same engine that powers the latest FE generation Honda Civic e:HEV RS.
The familiar 1.5-litre VTEC Turbo will continue to be offered, with all-wheel drive.
For Thailand, Honda Sensing will be fitted as standard for all variants.
Judging from the wheels, the CR-V on the trailer appears to be the lower range VTEC Turbo variant.
Mirroring Honda Thailand’s other models, the highest specifications RS variant will be the e:HEV hybrid, and can be identified with its blue badge and different wheels.
The 44th Bangkok International Motor Show will be open to the public from 22-March to 2-April.
In Malaysia, prices of the outgoing generation Honda CR-V starts from RM 146,900 for the entry 2.0-litre naturally aspirated i-VTEC variant. The highest specifications 1.5-litre VTEC Turbo AWD variant starts from RM 171,400.
