We’ve seen the futuristic, all-electric luxobarge that is the BMW i7 running around the streets of Kuala Lumpur and now BMW Malaysia has finally announced the official pricing of RM 729,800 for the sole BMW i7 xDrive60 M Sport variant.

To quickly recap, the xDrive60 badge denotes a powertrain comprising 2 electric motors on the front and rear axle, giving it all-wheel drive, or xDrive in BMW jargon. Outputs are 544 PS/745 Nm, making it good for a 0-100 kph sprint time of a claimed 4.7 seconds, plenty quick to reach those big meetings and seal multimillion Ringgit deals.

The 101.7 kWh battery enables a WLTP range of up to 625 km while max AC and DC charging are rated at 11 kW and 195 kW, respectively.

Unlike its chief rival, the Mercedes-Benz EQS, the i7 sits is underpinned by the Cluster Architecture (CLAR) platform that’s shared with the 2023 BMW 7 Series. The EQS meanwhile, doesn’t share a platform with the S-Class.
