BMW Malaysia has expanded the local i4 range with the introduction of 2 new entry-level variants, the BMW i4 eDrive35 and the BMW i4 eDrive35 M Sport, priced at RM 273,800 and RM 299,800 with the optional Extended Warranty & Service Package (BSRI).

If you opt to purchase the new i4 variants without the BSRI package, pricing is a little lower at RM 258,210 and RM 284,210.

The i4 eDrive35 variants join the BMW i4 M50 and the i4 eDrive40 M Sport to double the i4 offerings here.

Powering the coupe-ish sedan is a single electrically excited synchronous motor that delivers 286 PS and 400 Nm of torque to the rear wheels, all good for a 6 second flat century sprint.

The battery is a 70.2 kWh lithium-ion unit with a 66 kWh usable capacity, giving it a WLTP range of around 490 km. It supports DC charging at up to 180 kW.

The sleek shape lends it outstanding aerodynamics, achieving an impressive low cd drag coefficient of 0.24. Exterior highlights include LED headlights while the rolling stock is 18-inch double-spoke light allow wheels in 853 Bicolour for the i4 eDrive 35 and 18-inch M aerodynamic wheels with 858 M Bicolour for the M Sport variant. Unique to the BMW i4 eDrive35 variant is a sleek Aluminium Satin lining adorning its sides.

Inside, you’ll find the BMW iDrive infotainment system with the BMW Curved Display as standard. The i4 eDrive35 variant features a sports leather steering wheel, while elevating the interior aesthetics is the oak grain open-pored fine-wood trim. As for the i4 eDrive35 M Sport, it features an Alumium Rhombicle Anthracite M interior trim.

Upholster options include Sensatec Porfarated Black, Sensatec Perforated Cognac and Sensatec Perforated Tacora Red.

If colours are your thing, you’re in luck as the i4 eDrive35 comes in a wide selection of shades, that being:

• Black Sapphire
• Mineral White
• Sanremo Green
• Skyscraper Grey
• Aventurine Red

On the other hand, the i4 eDrive35 M Sport can be had in the aforementioned 5 colours as well as an additional 2 shades exclusive to it:

• M Portimao Blue
• M Brooklyn Grey

With the Easy Drive Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the i4 eDrive35 can be owned with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM 3,358 while the i4 eDrive35 M Sport starts at RM 3,657 (based on 5-year Easy Drive plan with a mileage of 100,000 km with an 80 percent loan amount). Additionally, they can also benefit from a RM 8,000 Easy Drive Cash Rebate upon registering for the Easy Drive Financing.
