Previously, we reported that an owner of a Tesla Model Y took it to Twitter saying that his steering wheel fell off while driving. As the story continues to develop, Tesla has decided to replace the entire car. Just a quick recap of the story - the owner, named Prerak Patel, tweeted that he was driving the car on a highway when the steering wheel suddenly detached from the column. Prerak had the vehicle towed to a Tesla service centre to have it checked and was billed USD 103.96 for the repair.
