Vying for the top of Thailand’s compact SUV sales in 2022 are the Honda HR-V and the Toyota Corolla Cross. It has been a hotly contested fight between the two SUVs but every month, only one of them will take the crown and in July, it is the HR-V’s turn to take the title. According to Thailand sales data, 2,410 units of the HR-V were sold in the Kingdom in the seventh month of the year. That’s the HR-V’s highest monthly sales figure in the year so far which translates to nearly 40% market share.

Honda Japan has teased the Honda ZR-V, which is the global version of the US-market Honda HR-V. As mentioned in an earlier article, the Honda ZR-V is a Civic-based SUV that bridges the gap between the Honda City-based HR-V and the Civic-based Honda CR-V. However, Honda has confirmed that it will discontinue sales of Honda CR-V in Japan later this year. Talk about oopsies - an image of the G01 2021 BMW X3 facelift (LCI) was prematurely featured on BMW Spain’s website. It has been taken down but you know what they say, “Once it’s on the internet, it’s there forever.” Not much can be seen in the photo as it predominantly shows off the side profile of the X3 LCI.
