2,500 bookings collected for 2023 Honda WR-V in Malaysia, launching tomorrow

At a media roundtable interview with Honda Malaysia, the Large Project Leader (LPL), and Assistant LPL for the 2023 Honda WR-V, VP of Sales & Dealer Development, Ms Sunita Prabhakaran revealed that they have received 2,500 bookings for the 2023 Honda WR-V since order books opened on 12-June.

When asked if the bookings for the Honda WR-V have affected the sales for the Honda City and City Hatchback, Ms Sunita highlighted that the WR-V draws a different market.
“Based on our data, it’s completely new [market], we’ve targeted a totally different market which is into lifestyle, so we’re confident it’s separate,” she said.
Executive Coordinator Yujiro Sugino also noted that deliveries for current bookings can be fulfilled within two months from the launch, happening tomorrow (13/7).
