![JPJ celebrate Merdeka with 70% discount on summonses 01]()
As part of Merdeka month celebration, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) has declared a special 70 percent discount on all compoundable summonses.
Transport Minister Dr Wee Ka Siong said that the special discount will run throughout the month of August. All summonses paid during the time period will be given a 70 percent discount.
“The discount is given to all compoundable summonses issued by JPJ and the Land Public Transport Commission (SPAD) for offences under the Road Transport Act and Commercial Vehicles Licensing Board Act and other rules and orders under it, including cases that are still blacklisted.

“The discount is applicable at all JPJ branches nationwide, including at various urban transformation centres (UTC) and other payment channels such as JPJ’s mySIKAP Portal, JPJ Kiosk and JPJ Mobile,” he said.
As for blacklisted offenders, you are required to head to a JPJ branch or state office for the documentation process before making a payment.
