In just three days, 14-December 2023 to be exact, we will be welcoming the all-new 6th-generation 2023 Honda CR-V, one of this year’s most hotly anticipated cars, and the fourth and final model introduction from Honda Malaysia in 2023.
With the discontinuation of the Honda Accord, the 2023 CR-V will soon become the new flagship model of Honda Malaysia.

Order books for the 2023 CR-V have been opened for a while now, and Just like our ASEAN neighbours, Malaysia will receive two engine choices – the proven turbocharged engine (193 PS/243 Nm) 1.5-litre VTEC and for the first time, the 184 PS/335 Nm (combined) 2.0-litre dual-motor i-MMD petrol-electric hybrid powertrain.
Alongside, the 2023 CR-V will also include – for the first time – a stylish RS variant that combines style, practicality, and technology in one package.

Buyers can also look forward to an upgraded Honda Sensing suite which now features a total of 9 safety functions with the addition of the Adaptive Driving Beam feature.
In addition to greater sensory precision, the system now detects motorcycles (previously too small to be reliably detected) and lorries (where trailer extensions complicate detection) to further keep you safe on the roads.
Elsewhere, other notable highlights include the new Active Shutter Grille which opens/shuts based on the car’s aero efficiency and cooling needs, the hands-free powered tailgate with walkaway close, 360-degree camera, and Bose premium audio system depending on the variant.
