Lexus Mutiara Damansara branch operation handed over to dealer

UMW Toyota Motor (UMWT) has transferred operations of the Lexus Mutiara Damansara outlet to the dealer Hiewa Auto Gallery (Lexus) Sdn Bhd.

This latest transfer is part of the company’s move to transfer all retail operation branches to its dealers back in October 2017. Just last month, the company transferred operations of the Section 19 Toyota 3S centre to Laser Motors while Fokus Sentral took over operations of the Toyota outlet in Cheras.

With Hiewa Auto taking over operations of the Mutiara Damansara outlet, this frees up UMWT to focus on other aspects of the business like product development, marketing and dealer support network.

The centre in Mutiara Damansara underwent a complete transformation back in 2018 to comply to present Lexus standards. Having operations transferred to dealers will promise a better and seamless experience for Lexus car owners in Malaysia.

UMWT also sees the transfer as a way to create more value for entrepreneurial spirit that would benefit the presently recovering local economy.
