Mitsubishi Motors Malaysia (MMM) has sold 100,000 Triton pick-up trucks here in Malaysia and to mark the occasion, they awarded the buyer of the 100,000th Triton enough diesel for 100,000 km.
To commemorate the achievement, MMM gave away 100,000 km diesel worth up to RM 27,000 to its 100,000th customer, Muhammad Faerus, a solar panel installation contractor.

Since MMM’s inception in 2005, the Triton has always been the foundation of its success, proving to be an innovative pick-up that found a liking with Malaysians.
Last year, the Triton maintained a solid market share of 22 per cent despite the pandemic and healthy competition from its rivals. MMM sold 9,268 units of the Triton in 2021, a 34 per cent growth compared to the previous year.
In conjunction with this celebration, MMM is organising a 100,000 Triton Ambitions Contest starting on 14 September 2022. The contest is open to all Triton owners.

Participation is easy. All owners need to do is fill up a contest survey form that’ll be available on their website on 14 September 2022 and submit a photo in either one or all four categories below:

- Tough Champ - owner’s toughest experience with the Triton
- Extreme Adventurer - owner’s most memorable long-distance journey with the Triton

By participating in the contest, a winner from each of the above categories will win diesel for 25,000 km worth up to RM 7,000. The contest form, photo submission and detailed contest terms and conditions can be found on Mitsubishi Motors’ official website from 14 September 2022 onwards.
“Better late than never.” Some despise it, others begrudgingly agree with it but he swears by it… much to the chagrin of everyone around him. That unfortunately stems from all of his project cars not running most of the time, which in turn is testament to his questionable decision-making skills in life. A culmination of many wrongs fortunately making a right; much like his project cars on the rare occasions they run, he’s still trying to figure out if another project car is the way to go.
