At the Malaysian launch of the all-new 2024 Honda CR-V at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC), Honda Malaysia announced that over 2,000 bookings were received for the sixth-generation SUV a month after it opened.

Honda Malaysia has not announced a breakdown of the number of orders based on variants. 4 variants of the all-new CR-V are offered in Malaysia with prices as follows:

• 1.5L S 2WD - RM 159,900
• 1.5L E 2WD - RM 169,900
• 1.5L V AWD - RM 181,900
• 2.0L e:HEV RS - RM TBC, early-2024

Two engine options are offered for the locally assembled (CKD) MY-spec CR-V:

• 1.5-litre VTEC Turbo (193 PS/243 Nm)
• 2.0-litre i-MMD petrol-electric hybrid (Combined 184 PS/335 Nm)

The turbocharged 4-cylinder unit powers 3 variants of the all-new CR-V:

• 1.5 S 2WD
• 1.5 E 2WD
• 1.5 V AWD

The petrol-electric hybrid powertrain is only offered on the top-of-the-range 2.0 RS e:HEV variant which features an enhanced Honda Sensing suite with 9 safety features, a 12-speaker Bose premium audio system, a key card, and the new Active Shuttle Grille that opens/closes based on the SUV’s aero efficiency and cooling needs.

• CR-V 2.0 2WD – RM 146,900
• CR-V 1.5 TC-P 2WD – RM 165,800
• CR-V Black Edition – RM 170,400
• CR-V 1.5 TC-P 4WD – RM 171,400
