Angka-Tan Motor Sdn Bhd (ATM) has launched the JMC Vigus Pro White Series, a new variant of its pick-up truck that looks to address the demands of the business community, especially small and medium enterprises (SMEs), with the most affordable automatic 4x4 pick-up in the market at RM 99,888.

The White Series serves as a tradesman vehicle while the JMC Vigus Pro Premium Series is targeted at private owners.

With its primary purpose being a workhorse, the White Series focuses on the essentials first and foremost.

Power comes from the familiar Puma 2.0-litre TDI engine, mated to a ZF 8-speed automatic transmission with manual mode that sends power to all the wheels via a BorgWarner 4-wheel-drive system.

The 4-wheel drive system allows drivers to switch between 2- and 4-wheel drive modes, depending on the road conditions. The low-range transfer box includes additional gears for a lower gear ratio, enhancing torque.

Every White Series is covered by a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty. The interior trimming comes with air-breathing fabric seats.

Simultaneously, ATM has also introduced a new colour for the Premium Series. Customers can now order their pick-up in Metal Grey. The new colour complements the existing shades of Metallic Silver, Stylish Black and Arctic White.

As the name suggests, the White Series can only be had in Arctic White.

ATM now offers additional accessories to meet customers’ various demands. Customers can choose accessories such as roller shutters or a canopy to add extra protection for the cargo bed. All accessories come with 1-year warranty.

Every JMC Vigus Pro is locally assembled (CKD) at the Tan Chong Motor plant in Serendah, Selangor. You can view it in the metal and even take it for a test drive at any of the 30 ATM dealerships nationwide, complemented by a network of 20 Tan Chong Ekpress Auto Servis aftersales service centres.

To celebrate the launch of the White Series, ATM is kicking off the ‘Test Drive and Win Contest’. Customers who participate in a test drive will have a chance to win BHP Petrol Vouchers worth a total of RM 20,000. Additionally, every purchase of a Vigus Pro will grant customers 10 entries into the contest. The lucky winner will be announced in Q1 2024.
