Hondas will last forever if you look after them! In my 61 years of driving I have owned …… 1 x MG Magnete ZA …………………….Average quality car 1 x Fiat 1500…………………………………..Great quality car 2 x Toyota Crowns…………………………First one, poor…second, average. 2 x Mazda 929 hardtops………………..Both good quality cars 1 Mazda Astina……………………………..Good quality car. 2 x Toyota Corolla Ascents……………Great quality cars 2 x Mazda 626s……………………………..First one average….. the second, great. 1 x Porsche 911 Targa 2.7 mechanical injection……..reliability, ,terrible,! 1 x Landrover Series one Discovery 3.5 V8………poor quality. 1 x Landrover TD4 Freelander………..Absolute dog of a car, nothing good about it! 2 x Honda Civics………..First one, absolutely outstanding…. second, time will tell. Plus a number of business vans. The Honda Civics are, hands down, the best vehicles I have ever owned, by far. My first was bought new in August 2003 and in 13 years of driving the only thing that broke down on that car was a battery….but that was after 9 years. When I sold that car in 2016 it had ,314,000 ,Kms on the clock and was still in perfect condition, it used almost no oil between 10,000 Km services and there was not a mark on it. Here are a couple of the photos I used to advertise it when selling it! We pulled a small trailer all around Australia with this car and it never gave us a moments problem….. I was really sorry to let that vehicle go, it just did everything so well and was so wonderfully built. Unfortunately, that was the last model Honda Civic built entirely in Japan. from that model they were assembled offshore. This is our current Civic, still pulling that little trailer around, and with 120,000 Kms on the clock, once again it has given absolutely no problems, the only thing that has needed replacing is an interior light bulb….. The secret is to look after them, perform all maintenance servicing when it should be done. A Honda is a well designed and built vehicle….Honda have done their part, you just need to do yours! Cheers……….Rob
This will short circuit the battery! And huge energy will pass through the spanner! Energy will convert into heat within spanner! If energy high enough and left for long time it may Glow up! The only part may damage the battery itself! This is dangerous don’t try to put spanner yourself! The battery may Explode🔥🔥
Go for the Mazda 3. Compared to the Corolla the Mazda is so much more fun to drive. The Corolla is a good and very reliable automobile but is simply a bit boring.
Toyota Corolla Ascent (or o/seas equivalent). And the best drive similar to the best of Europe.
Q: Why does my Toyota Corolla Ascent (year 2012) speedometer show a speed more than the actual? When actually it is 96 KMPH, it shows 100. A: Two reasons, one the manufacturer will set it to read as accurately as possible without reading slower than actual, and two, as your tires wear down, you don’t go as far per revolution and the revolutions are what the speedometer measures to determine speed.
My first car that I loaned back in 2003 was a 2001 Toyota Corolla Ascent Seca engine it was 6 months old and had 12000 km on its odometer and it was a manual transmission. Here are the facts on that car and how I maintained it or lack thereof that kept the car going for 13 years. For all those years that I had the car, I only serviced it 6 times Most of the times when I do check the oil level, (it only get checks when I go for a long drive) and I find the oil is running I just topped it up For those years that I had the car, it still have the same clutch from when i first got it The only major thing that I did to my car was changed the front pads 3x and rear pads once…I havent changed the rotors Changed the battery on it 2x Timing chains was never replaced It is a hatchback corolla, it had 12000 km when I bought it and at the end of its life when it got written off by the insurance it had 305000 km. How does that relate to the question you may be thinking, all I can say is regardless if the oil changing in your car is frequent, if its a lemon it will be a lemon!
I am going to be completely honest with you. If you do not have a fancy car where it is a keyless ignition (where you don’t have to stick your key in the ignition switchy thingy), then you will be good with a normal standard key. Those transponder keys are really expensive, although at Wal-Mart, you can get a transponder key for just $30 (USD). If you wanted to get a normal car key, that would be somewhere around ($3 - $10 [USD]). . . . Yagna (Yogi) Patel Edit: I should clarify that if your car has keyless entry and a “keyless” ignition…. If your car has a transponder key, and no key that you have to put in the ignition, then you ,WILL NEED, to get a replacement transponder key, regardless, or your car won’t start. If you do have a transponder key, but in your car it has a ignition switch/keyhole, then you shouldn’t need one, unless it’s a fancy car and it won’t open/start without the key.

If u can get fare just to cover half way of your distance from home to work and back you done well
No measuring instrument can be totally, precisely exact. Car manufacturers wisely want to be sure that the >indicated< speed always errs on the >high side< of the actual speed, as that encourages the driver to drive more safely.
It was sometime between 1977 and 1979 while I was traveling along a two-lane road in NE Arkansas. It was early morning and I was on my way from the office in Jonesboro, AR to a school district some 40-to-50 miles away. For 4 out of 5 days of the week I traveled to a distant school district for my job. On Fridays, I stayed in the office and wrote assessment reports. Most of the roads on which I traveled were the same, with acres upon acres of farmland on either side of this very flat terrain. You could literally see for miles in all directions. Sometimes, you would see farm equipment or a crop duster (small prop plane) in the air. Generally, I saw the fields and nothing else - no other cars, even! I was driving my 2-door Toyota Corolla that morning - it was a 3-speed, manual shift vehicle that was severely under powered (1200 cc engine). Sometimes, I would drive my employer’s new Saab, with a 5-speed transmission; it had serious torque and could handily go 90 mph on those flat country roads. Not that day - I was driving the sluggish Corolla that had trouble getting up to 60 mph. I saw a crop duster in the distance that day. It was getting closer AND way too low to the ground- I was thinking it had a mechanical problem… Nope, the pilot probably recognized the car and was bored. I looked out of my side window to see this plane coming straight for the driver’s side of my car, maybe 6 feet off the ground. I put the petal to the metal, but of course, the Toyota wasn’t going much faster. The pilot adjusted when I increased my speed, so I knew he wasn’t having mechanical problems. At what seemed like the very last second, the plane took a sharp ascent and flew over the top of my vehicle. I swear to this day that I saw a smile on his face as he was flying towards my car.
