When Cycle & Carriage opened its Mercedes-Benz Autohaus facility in Mutiara Damansara back in 2006, it was the first Mercedes-Benz dealership in the country to adopt the Autohaus concept.
Fast forward to today, it’s time for an upgrade to maintain the high standards of service that Mercedes-Benz dealerships are known for. There are also more Mercedes-Benz dealers today so competition is fiercer than ever before.
To stay ahead, the Mutiara Damansara Autohaus has now been upgraded to feature Mercedes-Benz Malaysia’s latest retail concept – the first for a Mercedes-Benz dealer in the country.
The new concept aims to create memorable moments for the customer by using a combination of personal contact and digital elements in advice, sales and service. The four elements of this new retail concept are - Media & IT, Format, People & Process and Architecture.
The Star Assistant is the first contact for the customer in the showroom, who acts as the "first face" of the brand ensuring a very welcoming atmosphere at reception.
The rest of the showroom’s architecture are designed to integrate well with digital media, which will be used very extensively to promote a more intense product experience.
The previous Autohaus features distinctively different interior design for different sections of the showroom floor. Now, spatial boundaries within the building are kept to a minimum to deliberately create an open-space feeling.
