Sime Darby Auto Connexion, the distributor of Ford vehicles in Malaysia will soon be airing a first-of-its-kind lifestyle themed podcast centred around the Ford Ranger and its adventurous owners.

The podcast, dubbed “Ford Malaysia: Built for Life”, will be available on Spotify and Youtube starting 28 January 2024.

A true Malaysian production by Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), the podcast transcends conventional narratives surrounding automobiles. Rather than primarily focusing on technical specifications and industry-related information, the “Ford Malaysia: Built for Life” podcast taps into the human aspect.

Presented in an engaging storytelling format through heartfelt anecdotes, interviews and shared experiences, “Ford Malaysia: Built for Life” delves into the stories and experiences of Ford Ranger owners and the vibrant Ranger community, showcasing how this iconic vehicle has become an integral companion for work, family and play.

It is a profound expression that encapsulates the enduring bond between the Ranger and its community. Hosted by former radio host JJ Fernandez (or JJ for short), the debut season of “Ford Malaysia: Built for Life” comprises six episodes, each featuring a different story.

Episode 1 shines a spotlight on the dynamic Malaysia Ford Ranger Club. Episode 2 highlights the experiences of new Ford Ranger owners. Episode 3 features local motorsports expert and trainer Adian Yein.

Social media personality Namie sits down with an SDAC product expert in Episode 4, while veteran motoring journalist Hezeri Samsuri shares his insights in Episode 5. Last but not least, Episode 6 offers a special feature on an expert from Ford Performance who not only oversaw the design and development of the Ford Ranger Raptor but was also involved in testing it at Baja 1000.

Each episode goes live on Spotify on Sundays, for six weeks starting from 28 January 2024, catch all episodes on Ford Malaysia's Spotify or YouTube channel.
