The 2020 Kia Grand Carnival 11-seater has just been introduced with a sole variant priced at RM 179,888 on-the-road without insurance. The previous 8-seater variants have been discontinued.
As before, the Grand Carnival is powered by a 2.2-litre turbodiesel engine that makes 200 PS and 440 Nm of torque. Transmission duty is handled by an 8-speed automatic transmission.
Dimensions wise it is identical to the 8-seater, measuring at 5,115 mm long, 1,985 mm wide, and 1,755 mm tall. Wheelbase stretches to 3,060 mm long. Wheels are 18-inch items wrapped with 235/60 rubbers.
The Multiflex seats allow various configurations for the seating layout, from 6-seater to the full 11-seater configuration. The seats themselves are fabric and the front seats are manually adjusted.
The 7-inch infotainment touchscreen display features Android Auto/Apple CarPlay connectivity. It also displays the reverse camera. And in terms of safety, it gets 6 airbags, stability control, and hill-start assist. No ADAS here.
