Honda Malaysia announced today that has delivered over 2,200 units of the Honda WR-V - the company’s first A-segment SUV, positioned below the Honda HR-V – within one month of its official launch in July 2023. The range-topping RS variant is the most popular variant, accounting for 60 percent of total WR-V sales.

The Honda WR-V is now Honda Malaysia's second best selling model after the Honda City.

The first customer was Ms. Nurain Binti Mohamad, who took delivery of her car in early August from dealer Accord Auto Sdn. Bhd.

As a gesture of appreciation to commemorate this momentous occasion, Ms. Nurain was presented with Honda Accessories, Ultra Glass Body Coating and Official Merchandise, collectively worth RM5,000.

Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Hironobu Yoshimura said, “We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to our customers for their trust in the Honda brand and support for the All-New WR-V, which is a brand-new model in the Non-National Small SUV segment. Since its launch, the model has been well accepted in the market and achieved remarkable sales performance. The RS variant is the largest contributor, accounting for 60% of the total sales to-date. We are also delighted to share that the All-New WR-V is the second best-selling model in our Honda line-up for the month of July 2023.”

The 1.5-litre naturally aspirated Honda WR-V is priced from RM 89,900 to RM 107,900. Honda’s signature suite of Sensing advance driving safety aids are available from the 1.5E variant onwards, from RM 95,900.
