MINI Malaysia goes all black with a special MINI Countryman Blackheath Edition. This is the first special edition to come for the current F60 Countryman generation. The Countryman Blackheath Edition is limited to 48 units only and comes only in Midnight Black for the price of RM 253,888.

The Countryman Blackheath Edition comes only in pure black paired with matte tone brushed aluminium Bonnet Stripes and trimmed in piano black around head and tail lights, front grilles, door handles, and rear emblem.

Although the Blackheath Edition is just a special edition, the car still came with several updates like new LED fog lights and Aerodynamic Mirror Caps similar to the MINI John Cooper Works Countryman 310 PS.

The special edition also swaps out the 18-inch wheels on the standard Countryman in favour of 19-inch John Cooper Works Circuit Spoke wheels that is further complemented by the John Cooper Works Aerodynamic Kit.

On the inside, MINI has upgraded the infotainment head unit to an 8.8-inch touchscreen that houses the latest MINI Connected with 4G Sim technology and Apple Carplay.

Mechanically, the MINI Countryman Blackheath Edition is powered by a retuned Cooper S 2.0-litre MINI TwinPower Turbo engine, similar to the new Clubman launched late last year, that produces even more power than before at 192 PS and 280 Nm of torque. 

The new retuned engine in the Blackheath Edition has the ability to make the century sprint in just 7.5-seconds and has a top speed pf 225 km/h.

Like the new 2019 MINI Clubman, the Countryman Blackheath Edition’s Cooper S engine is mated to a 7-speed Dual Clutch Sports automatic transmission controlled by a new shift-by-wire gear selector.
