Isuzu Malaysia has updated the D-max pick-up truck range in Malaysia with additional equipment in the form of a reverse camera for the D-Max Standard 1.9-litre model, ensuring that the key safety feature is now standard across the entire range of double-cab D-Max models.
While the flagship X-Terrain and Premium variants have enjoyed this feature since their introduction, the base Standard 1.9-litre version now isn’t left out following requests from traders who want the assurance of this parking aid in their trucks.

By providing these users with a factory-fitted solution for their parking needs, not only do we help protect their investments but it also ensures that their vehicles continue to remain mobile reliably and safely,” said Isuzu Malaysia’s Chief Operating Officer, Kenkichi Sogo.

Isuzu is now the first manufacturer in Malaysia to provide reverse cameras as standard across its entire double cab pick-up truck range. The reverse camera sits neatly in a receptacle next to the tailgate handle and sends images to a new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment head unit fitted in the 1.9-litre Standard model. The unit also enjoys Bluetooth connectivity, offering music playback when paired with your smartphone.
